Kristiansund Base is a port terminal designed for handling general cargo, bulk, project loads, heavy lifting and waste management. The terminal offers both indoor and outdoor storage facilities, as well as end-to-end logistics.
Logistics solutions
We provide services such as packing, labelling, shipping, transportation and lifting at the base, loading and unloading of vessels, pipe storage and inspection, indoor and outdoor storage, freight forwarding, customs clearance and logistics.
Personnel
Together with our parent company ASCO Norge, we can offer the hire of personnel to our customers. We have a team of talented, experienced professionals who can provide you with the expertise you need to boost your organization. We run Transocean’s and AKOFS’s warehouses in Kristiansund and have in-depth knowledge of logistics and transportation on behalf of operators, customers and suppliers in the offshore industries.
Equipment and capacity
Kristiansund Base has access to extensive additional area if needed. This means that we can make additional site area available, as well as developing new buildings and quayside solutions.
Warehousing
Kristiansund provides insulated and uninsulated warehousing facilities. We have outdoor space available and we are easily able to expend with new buildings if needed. This means we can quickly enlarge our capacity to accommodate your needs.
Tailor-made logistics solutions
Kristiansund Base benefits from weekly departures and arrivals to and from the European continent. Our close partnership with North Sea Container Line’s network and fleet of container ships allows us to offer short lead times to the biggest ports in Europe.
